Typical applications required the prevention and protection against all types of oxidation, the prevention of the growth of fungus on optics, the dry preservation of lab materials and samples as well as the protection of MSDs (moisture sensitive devices) within the electronics industry.
Are very sensitive to humidity and mold. Once mold starts growing, it will erode down inside the lens, making it unusable. Cleatech Desiccator Cabinets are useful in preventing mold from growing. You can keep the humidity between 30% up to 50% RH that is ideal humidity level to keep your camera lens from various molds.
Can protect Microfilms and Photographs from the risk of high humidity. The ideal humidity storage levels for various kinds of media are 20% to 50% RH based on ISO5466.
The ideal storage of CDs and DVDs is around 25 to 45%RH in 15-20ºC, humidity affect the position of the recording element
It protects Magnetic tapes from worsening in noise and picture caused by high humidity.
Electronic devices can suffer internal damage. Package cracking due to such moisture-induced internal stress is called popcorn cracking. However, even if the package does not crack, interfacial delaminating can occur.
IC packages, PCBs, Ceramics, Silicon Wafer, Optical Fiber, CCD, Crystal Resonator, Liquid Crystal Glass (LCG) Board, Electric Components all are Moisture-sensitive items which can be protected using Cleatech Desiccator Cabinets.
With Cleatech Desiccators laboratory samples, reagents, medicines, water solution, microscope lens and dried materials etc can be kept in their best condition away form any deterioration caused by moisture.
Cleatech desiccators are the great choice for preserving your valuable assets safe for years. Printings, drawings, samples, books, ancient documents, scroll pictures, ancient musical instruments, paintings, also copper bells, swords, iron axes, copper mirrors, armors etc
Desiccant is an absorbent material, such as silica gel or zeolite, that’s used to maintain a low relative humidity inside a bag or carrier. The amount of desiccant used is calculated according to the bag surface area and water vapor transmission rate in grams per 100 square inches in 24 hours, to maintain an interior relative humidity of less than 10 percent at 25 C.
Dry boxes or Desiccator Cabinets are an alternative to moisture barrier bags that can greatly reduce the risk of operator handling errors. The metal cabinets feature tightly sealed doors and multiple shelves for storing trays and reels for extended periods of time. A good dry box maintains relative humidity at 5 percent or less for indefinite safe storage, as stated in the guidelines under the IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033B specification.
Humidity is removed from the cabinets by use of a powerful desiccant. Moisture absorbed by the desiccant is vaporized and released outside the dry box. Digital controls record the temperature and humidity over time.
Nitrogen cabinets are a more expensive way to purge moisture. They use a constant positive pressure flow to void the cabinet of all oxygen, which forces out all moisture and contamination.
