Cleatech laminar flow hoods are designed to protect samples, parts, and components from airborne contamination by providing a HEPA or ULPA filtered airflow across the work area.

Our laminar flow hoods are available in either a vertical and horizontal airflow configuration. A vertical airflow configuration directs filtered air downwards towards the workspace, whereas a horizontal airflow configuration directs filtered air towards the operator from the back of the workspace. Depending on your application, either of these two configurations would work for most medical and research laboratories, equipment assembly or electronic devices.

HEPA filtered laminar flow cabinets for storage of contamination-sensitive materials. Polypropylene construction with transparent windows. Including a cleanroom compatible powder coated steel stand. The shelf perforations allow air distribution throughout the cabinet.

Standard Features

  • A positive pressure system that protects samples from airborne contamination. This system does not offer personnel protection.
  • Directs HEPA or ULPA filtered airflow either vertically or horizontally, towards the work surface at a constant speed.
  • Choice of HEPA or ULPA filters to meet cleanliness requirements. HEPA filters are 99.99% efficient at capturing 0.3 microns particle and larger. ULPA filters are 99.997% efficient at capturing 0.12 microns particle and larger.
  • The unit consists of a polypropylene body, static-dissipative PVC windows and an epoxy powder coated steel stand to meet requirements for chemical resistance, static control, and cleanliness.
  • Portable vertical laminar flow hoods provide a space-saving design that can be positioned on nearly any bench. They are ideal for life sciences, such as small animal or plant research, and pharmacy needs.
  • Horizontal laminar flow hoods are specially designed to provide the ideal particle-free clean-air environment required for laboratory work testing, pharmaceutical procedures, and inspection.
  • Laminar flow storage cabinets provide a clean environment for storing materials and meet class 100 cleanrooms standard. They include an integrated HEPA filter/blower module and feature double full-height access doors constructed of either acrylic or static-dissipative PVC.
