They are designed to automatically control purge system to maintain desired low relative humidity or low Oxygen level in a desiccator, glove box or any other enclosure. Purge control Module with RH sensor – Humodule ™

New designed Automatic Purge Control Unit Humodule ™ comes in two different configurations: Humodule H (Dehumidification) & C (Dehumidification & Humidification):

HUMODULE-H
Automatic Purge Control Unit with RH sensor- Humodule H a dehumidification system, capable of measuring and displaying humidity in the range: 0-100%RH, Accurately controls and maintains the RH% on a set point between 5%RH to ambient level (+/- 3% RH), required compressed dry air or inert gas.

Type S

It’s a single purge unit, it keeps the humidity of enclosure on the set point by purging Nitrogen when the moisture climbs above an adjustable set point. The Nitrogen flow is stopped by a solenoid valve, when the humidity is lower than set point. The input pressure is controlled by the pressure regulator (0 – 30 psi), and the output flow rate by the Flowmeter (0 – 20 SCFH).

Type D

It is a dual purge unit. While inside related humidity level is below set point, the system provides low purge (2-20 Cubic feet per hour) inert gas maintaining positive pressure inside the enclosure in order to have free contaminants and moisture environment. When the moisture climbs above an adjustable set point the system automatically activates high-flow purge (0.5 -30 PSI).

HUMODULE-C
Automatic Purge Control Unit Humodule C with full range of humidity control features a built-in RH controller, Low/ High alarm, humidity membrane, water tank, heating module used effectively to control humidity in applications such as for controlled atmosphere chambers, glove boxes and desiccators. When the ambient humidity is lower than the set point, humidification module is activated, air or a gas stream enters a port on one end flows through the lumens of the hollow fibers filled by water thereby humidifying your gas stream. When the ambient RH% level is higher than the set point, dry air or inert gas bypassing the humidification membrane in order to reduce the humidity in the test chamber.

Humodule Type C, a Gas Humidification / Dehumidification module, capable of measuring and displaying humidity in the range: 0-100%RH, Accurately Controls Pre-Set Relative Humidity (+/- 3% RH) from 5% to 100%RH, Stainless Steel housing, required compressed air or inert gas (Include Pressure Regulator, Gauge, Flowmeter, Silicon Membrane, water heater 120V,3A, RH Senso).

Purge control Module with O2 sensor

Cleatech Nitrogen Purge Control System with Oxygen Sensor (Oxygen Analyzer) works with an inert gas such as Nitrogen and Argon. The system monitors the O2 level 0 to 100% (convertible to ppm scale) and it’s able to maintain the O2 level inside the enclosure on the desired setpoint level. It’s an inert gas dual purge system which provides low purge (2-20 Cubic feet per hour) when the O2 level is below the set point maintaining a positive pressure inside the enclosure (e.g glovebox) to have free contaminants and moisture environment. When the oxygen level climbs above an adjustable set point the system automatically activates high-flow purge (20-200 SCFH ).

  • Oxygen Analyzer / Automatic Purge Control Unit with O2 Sensor, 0 to 100% Oxygen level reading range, including external model CAG-250E sensor, locking sensor interface cable, 115/230 VAC, Stainless Steel enclosure, Bench-top, Alarm Output, RS 232 Service port, Available with 4-20mA negative ground, 0-10VDC range ID and choice of 0-1VDC, 0-5VDC or 0-10VDC analog oxygen signal.

Other Configuration for desiccator cabinets:

  • In One-channel purge control unit (Humodule H & C), there is only one humidity sensor which is installed in the lower chamber of multi-chamber desiccators. There are some perforated holes between chambers which connect the chambers together.
  • For more critical requirements, select the Multi-Channel nitrogen purge control unit. (Available in two to four channel models). For each chamber there is separated sensor and controller. When any door opens the system responses faster to the sudden RH% increase.
